Ir-Ramla il-Hamra. translating into Red Sand, is the largest beach on the island of Gozo characterized by natural red sand dunes running along the beach-making it the perfect destination for swimmimg, snorkelling and chilling out in the sun. In the middle of the sandy beach there is an eye-catching statue of the Holy Mary with baby Jesus in her arms, a testimony to the strong faith of the Gozitans.
