Gateway School of English (GSE)

The GISOE School of English and its residence are located in a picturesque residential area of San Gwann. It is only a short walk away from Spinola Bay, St. Julian’s and Paceville, and is very close to the public transport network.

The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They give you individual attention in the classroom and outside it. The GISOE School works exclusively with small groups.

The school can boast of a well-stocked library and its self-study facilities include state-of-the-art computer hardware and the latest software. All the classrooms are equipped with audiovisual facilities and most of them are also equipped with interactive white boards using the latest digital course materials.

1The Gateway School Residence

The Gateway School Residence is a fully detached structure built with beautiful Maltese limestone on three floors. It boasts 22 bedrooms (6 double rooms, 12 triple rooms, 4 quadruple rooms), 8 bathrooms, 4 TV lounges with cabled computer work stations ensuring 24/7 fast-access broadband internet connection, a recreational area, and an in-house canteen or diner. Free WiFi is also available from all the bedrooms and common areas. Students have their own desk, chair, wardrobe and locker and provided with bed linen and bath towels. Bed linen are changed once a week and towels twice a week. The Residence is available on half board (breakfast and lunch).

2Homestay

The homestay means that you will live in with meticulously selected host families in homes within 5 minute walking distance from the school. All host families are native English speakers and available on half board (breakfast & dinner) or full board basis (breakfast/packed lunch/dinner)
